The
winter 2007-08 is fast becoming one of the best in recent
memory at Utah's 13 ski and snowboard
resorts.
For
only the fourth time in 28 years, Alta Ski Area has
reached its season average of 500 inches of snowfall
already in the month of February. It has been fifteen
years since this milestone was reached this early in the
month. Fifteen inches of new snow from a statewide
snowstorm Sunday into Monday brought Alta's base depth to
150 inches and season-to-date snowfall to 508
inches.
Elsewhere,
Park City Mountain Resort is reporting 309 inches of
snowfall to date this season; Powder Mountain: 360
inches; Snowbasin: 361 inches; Snowbird: 414 inches; and
The Canyons: 299 inches. Eleven inches of new snow fell
in southern Utah at Brian Head Resort, with the same
amount landing on Beaver Mountain's slopes in the far
northern corner of Utah. Snow was continuing to fall at
press time, and another storm was expected to arrive in
the state in time for the coming

reserve a unit, and are not refundable even if the unit is
not used. If reservations are canceled 60 days or more
before arrival, a full refund less a $75.00 charge will be
given. Canceling 30 to 59 days before scheduled arrival will
result in a two night charge. Cancellation less than 30 days
prior will not be eligible for a refund. No refunds for
units deemed unsatisfactory by renter. Renter is responsible
to know unit, amenities, and bedding before
booking.
